From an early age, Jim Rock was inspired cooking for his family. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island to pursue advanced courses at the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, N.Y. Rock’s culinary repertoire flourished training with Vincent Chen at Sarah Street Grill in Stroudsburg as a sushi chef and assistant banquet chef at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia.

With over 30 years of culinary experience 2018, Rock will open the kitchen at Chef Rock’s Kitchen and Catering, located in Wilmington, DE Little Italy.

Rock’s vast menu of international comfort food ranges from Mediterranean tooven-baked pizzas, with plenty of fresh salads like the delicate Seared Pepper Ahi Tuna.
